refugio
Normal life went on pause over the last couple days when I went camping with my family in refugio. I think everyone needs to take time out to go get away from everything and have time to just relax without the tv on or your ipod. Its so refreshing and I've come home ready to take on everything with a fresh mindset. It felt amazing to not think about work or think about whats next with wedding planing but just sit back and relax and spend quality time with my family.

food
i guess you'd say that food isnt really a wedding topic unless you want to call it perfecting my cooking skill, although i'm not sure Brandon wants me to perfect my healthy cooking skill like i have been :) lately I've been on a cauliflower kick.
i have always wanted to try these mashed "potatoes" i've heard about where instead of potatoes you use cauliflower, and let me tell you they are delicious, well i had extra cauliflower to use so i got adventures looking at recipes on the internet and i came up with something crazy.
cauliflower pizza.
and you know what...it was quite yummy actually. the crust is just 2 cups of steamed cauliflower, 2 cups of cheese, and 2 eggs. you can hardly taste the cauliflower in the crust. its definitely a different consistency so i had to eat it with a fork but not bad. i think if you made it a veggie pizza you wouldn't even notice a different taste at all.
right out of the oven before the toppings go on...

Well hello there,
I decided that since I've had my last blog since 2004 it was time for a fresh start... And with the wedding date soon approaching (93days and counting!) my days here are filled with crafting and planing!
So if you'd like to join me on this little adventure I've set out on I'm gonna try my best to keep this blog updated about how all the wedding plans are coming and what crafts were working on and we'll just life in general here with me and Brandon. : )
